    Magnat MR 780

    The Magnat MR 780 combines elegant audiophile sound with considerable power reserve. The high-quality, selected and heated ECC81 tubes used in the preamplifier guarantee a warm sound. The transistors in the power amplifier, on the other hand, ensure the right amount of watts. It is a very universal device thanks to the wealth of possibilities of connecting it.

    

    By generating up to 100W per channel of continuous power at 4 ohms, it is able to drive the vast majority of speakers available on the market without any loss of bass. Tubes used in the preamplifier take care of the appropriate culture and saturation of midrange and treble, the unwanted dryness most often found in the highest range has been eliminated. Noteworthy is the quality of installation of the elements and high class passive elements.

    

    Magnat offers a virtually overwhelming number of connection options for analogue and digital sources, including aptX Bluetooth. Where necessary, Wolfson’s high quality digital-to-analogue converter processes signals at resolutions up to 192 kHz and 24 bits. A phono preamplifier for MM systems, an integrated DAB/DAB+ tuner and FM receiver and many other details make the MR 780 one of the most complete stereo receivers in this price category.

    

    Visible through the glass, discreetly glowing lamps and a metal casing give the impression of being in contact with a product much more expensive than in reality.
